Plantar Fasciitis Study

Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tar fas-e-I-tis) is a common cause of arch and heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom causing stabbing pain that often occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain typically decreases, but it might return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting.

Qualified Participants Must Be:

  • 18 – 75 years old
  • Have pain associated with plantar fasciitis for 6 months or more
  • Have plantar fasciitis on one foot only
  • Be generally healthy

  • See a study doctor at no cost
  • Be compensated for time and travel
  • Have access to study medication
